Our Story

The Frida Cinema is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit arts organization, dedicated to enriching, connecting, and educating communities through the art of cinema. Founded February 21, 2012, we are Orange County's year-round film festival, presenting quality independent, classic, student, short, anime, and avant-garde cinematic programming, complemented by community engagements, live concert events, and other diverse cultural experiences.

As Orange County’s only non-profit, independent art house cinema, we rely on support from film lovers like you to keep our doors open and our screens lit, and Memberships are the perfect way to lend your support throughout the year!

Donating

All gifts will go a long way in helping us be OC's year-round film festival. Your support allows us to continue to serve fellow nonprofit, arts, and education organizations, by means of collaborative events and fundraisers. We accept both one time and recurring donations.
