From director Alberto Barboza comes CRY NOW, an exhilarating tale of passion and creativity that takes us on a journey into Los Angeles’ eclectic contemporary music and art scenes.

Vincent (Miguel Angel Caballero), a restless street artist in search for inspiration, finally meets his muse, Luzy (Iliana Carter), a tattoo artist, at a backyard party. But when his vengeful ex-girlfriend Sofia (Mina Olivera) finds out, he finds himself over his head as she accuses him of criminal vandalism. With the LAPD in close pursuit, Vincent embarks on a journey where he meets Lobo (Sal Lopez), a sympathetic Norteño band musician, who decides to help Vincent and Luzy get away.

Featuring the last screen performance by veteran character actress Lupe Ontiveros (Selena, Real Women Have Curves) as wise elder Rosario, who provides Vincent with some perspective on love, community, and the nature of inspiration, Cry Now is a soulful and sexy look at the rapidly evolving canvas of culture in Los Angeles, featuring an extraordinary soundtrack, and murals by real-life street artist EL MAC.
