AUNTIE MAME: Presented by MenAlive Orange County Gay Mens Chorus

November 9, 2017 @ 7:00 pm

On Thursday, November 9, MenAlive – The Orange County Gay Men’s Chorus comes to The Frida – and they’re bringing Auntie Mame with them!

Presented as a special benefit screening, Auntie Mame is an uproarious 1958 comedy starring Rosalind Russell in her iconic role as Mame Dennis, a progressive and independent woman of the 1920s, who is left to care for her nephew Patrick after his wealthy father dies. Mr. Babcock, Patrick’s assigned executor, objects to Mame’s unconventional way of living, and tries to force her to send Patrick to prep school. What’s a loving free-spirited aunt to do when her bond with her favorite nephew is tested by conservative society?
