A month-long celebration of the 20th Anniversaries of some of 1999’s most iconic films isn’t complete without Mike Judge’s unlikely cult classic, Office Space!

Peter, Michael, and Samir are office drones for an IT company who hate their jobs and learn that they are about to be laid off. After a run-in with a hypnotherapist leaves Peter in a particularly ultra-zen state, he talks his cohorts into a plan to get back at the company and their overbearing boss — only for it to backfire on them, and put them in a most precarious situation.

Written and directed by Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge, and based on his own “Milton” series of animated shorts, the oft-quoted Office Space was a sleeper hit that has become quite a fan favorite in the years since its release – especially for those all-too-familiar with life behind a corporate desk…

“With a judiciously executed hip-hop soundtrack and the same anti-conformist spirit that informs Judge’s TV cartoons, “Office Space” can expect to attract people who aren’t even old enough to be stuck in dead-end jobs.” — Jami Bernard, New York Daily News

“A hilarious knockdown of corporate culture.”  — Michael Sragow, The New Yorker

“The creator of Beavis and Butt- Head has made a laid-back, even subtle comedy that generally favors mischievous ironies over outlandish jokes.” — David Sterritt, Christian Science Monitor
