Our four-film tribute to the works of Master of Horror Stephen King continues October 11, 12, & 14 with director Mary Lambert’s ultra-creepy 1989 chiller Pet Sematary!

Doctor Louis Creed (Dale Midkiff) moves his family to Maine, where he meets a friendly local named Jud Crandall (Fred Gwynne). After the Creeds’ cat is accidentally killed, Crandall tells Louis about the local old pet cemetery – apparently dead things that are buried there don’t stay dead long. After what happens to his kitty you would think Louis would never think to bury anything there again, but after someone much closer to him meets a grisly fate, it’s back to the cemetery, leading to increasingly grisly happenings at the Creed house…

And oh yes… Creed’s wife is plagued by visions of her sister Zelda. But we won’t talk about Zelda…
