Brace yourselves for shock humor galore as The Frida Cinema brings back South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut as part of its 1999 month!

When Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny see an R-rated movie featuring Canadians Terrance and Philip, they are pronounced “corrupted” and their parents pressure the United States to wage war against Canada. Unbeknownst to them, their efforts play into the hands of some unsavory characters, putting the world itself in jeopardy.

A satire that is very much a product of its time, South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut is a perfect parody of the controversy surrounding both itself and the show it’s a continuation of.

1999. Directed by Trey Parker. 81 mins. Rated R.

“Possibly the single most subversive fact about the film is that all else being equal, it’s one of the best original movie musicals in a generation.” — Tim Brayton, Antagony & Ecstasy

“Although some will see this rude, crude comedy as the work of Satan himself, others will see the sharp, wildly funny social satire behind the profanity and potty jokes.” — Rita Kempley, Washington Post

“Among other things, the South Park movie restores the happy shock and exuberance of talking dirty.” — Rob Gonsalvez,
