Young Tyler Burnside (Charlie Plummer) lives in what he thinks is the perfect, all-American community until he comes across something deeply disturbing. In his father’s possession are a series of unsettling images that make Tyler wonder if he had anything to do with a series of murders that plagued the town over a decade ago and were never solved. As if this wasn’t shocking enough, he has reason to believe that the Clovehitch Killer may strike again.
A slow-burn thriller that satirizes small-town American life, The Clovehitch Killer is a tense film that will stay with you long after it’s over.

“The Clovehitch Killer is the biggest and best surprise so far in 2018. Intelligent, engrossing, and chilling.” — Mike McGranaghan, Aisle Seat
“McDermott is admirably unsettling, and Luke McCoubrey’s artfully sterile cinematography adds an air of suffocating wholesomeness that can make you squirm.” — Jeanette Catsoulis, The New York Times
“The Clovehitch Killer is a truly scary and surprisingly thoughtful flick which transcends the trappings of its genre roots with sterling direction and a minimalistic approach to horror.” — Rosie Knight, IGN Movies
