From Epic Pictures (Turbo Kid, Terrifier) comes director Joel Novoa’s chilling new horror film, The Nanny – screening one night only at The Frida – Wednesday, April 4th at 9pm!

Generally delightfully magical things happen when amiable British nannies appear out of thin air to take care of a rambunctious pair of siblings, but that’s far from the case when Leonor (Jaime Murray) arrives at the doorstep of single mother Anna (Schuyler Fisk) to assist her with her her troublesome children, Noa (Jadin Harris) and little Michael (Christian Ganiere).  When Noa becomes suspicious that her new nanny could very well be an evil faerie from a dark underworld, she pleads her case passionately – but who ever listens to children in horror movies?

Written by two of contemporary indie horror’s leading voices, Ed Dougherty (VHS: Viral) and Marcel Sarmiento (The ABC’s of Death), The Nanny offers some gruesome surprises as Noa takes it upon herself to seek answers in hopes of revealing the true identity of her eerie caretaker – and discovers a truth far more twisted than she could have ever imagined.
