On Saturday June 4, The Frida Cinema is proud to partner with Phone Booth Gallery, and founder / curator Garry Booth, for an Art Show dedicated to the films of celebrated independent filmmaker Jim Jarmusch. Art Show will take place from 6pm – 10pm, and art will remain on display through the month of June.
The Frida Cinema is proud to serve as a “pop up” venue for this incredible and exciting art show in tribute to one of independent cinema’s most signature voices, and will be complementing SAD & BEAUTIFUL WORLD: Art Show Tribute to Jim Jarmusch with a week-long retrospective of some of the writer/director’s most cherished and celebrated films, starting with an 11pm screening on Friday, June 3 of Jarmusch’s meditative 2013 slice of vampire existentialism, Only Lovers Left Alive.
