Logan Crow founded The Frida Cinema in February 2014, and serves as our Executive Director. A life-long cinema enthusiast, Logan has a 25+ year history working in and around the artform he loves, from his early days volunteering at Hollywood’s Egyptian Theater, to his formation of bygone L.A.-based cult cinema website MondoCelluloid.com and non-profit organization Long Beach Cinematheque. Crow is also passionate about special events as a means of bringing communities together to enjoy enriching and inspiring experiences, and in that effort founded Halloween-season community event Long Beach Zombie Walk, and continues to produce outdoor and drive-in screenings throughout Southern California. Aside from his work co-programming and developing The Frida, Logan currently serves on the boards of OC Pride and ArtsOC, and spends much of his free time watching, discussing, and writing about movies.
This December-January, The Frida Cinema will be celebrating the release of Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film THE BOY AND THE HERON with our ‘Miyazaki Masterpieces’ Lobby Art
