Christmas season at The Frida is never complete without John McTiernan’s 1988 classic Die Hard!
It’s Christmas Eve when NYPD detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) arrives in LA to reconcile with his estranged wife, Holly, and their young children. However, the holiday celebrations are waylaid when a group of German terrorists, led by the cunning Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), storm Holly’s office building. Trapped inside, McClane must do everything in his power to defeat Gruber and get everyone out of the tower alive.
Often cited as a Christmas favorite, Die Hard is an unexpectedly thrilling way to get into the holiday spirit!
