Summer, 1984: A perfect time to be 15 years old and carefree. But when a serial killer starts claiming victims in a small town, young neighborhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong (Graham Verchere) begins to suspect that his neighbor, a police officer, might be the culprit.  Along with his three best friends, Davey begins an investigation that grows increasingly dangers the closer the youngsters get to the truth.

The Goonies meets Rear Window meets Stranger Things in this new nostalgic gem that transports viewers back to the Day-Glo, New Wave days of the 1980’s – then surprises with some truly ingenious twists and terrifying revelations.

Directed by RKSS (Francois Simard, Anuk Whissell, Yoann-Karl Whissell). 2018. 105 minutes. Rated R.

“Summer of ’84 is a trashy classic that will absolutely rock midnight movie houses.” –  J.R. Kinnard, PopMatters

“The film teases viewers pretty effectively, with plenty of jolts that suggest the boys are on the right track, balanced by other signs they’re making something out of nothing.” – John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter

“Summer of ’84 hit the sweet spot for me so I hope it finds an audience. I need someone to talk about it obsessively with.”  – Fred Topel, Bloody Disgusting
