Hammer Films and NEON present the terrifying Sundance horror hit The Lodge.
A bone-chilling nightmare from the directors of Goodnight Mommy, the movie follows a family who retreat to their remote winter cabin over the holidays. When the father (Richard Armitage) is forced to abruptly depart for work, he leaves his children, Aidan (IT’s Jaeden Martell) and Mia (Lia McHugh), in the care of his new girlfriend Grace (Riley Keough). Isolated and alone, a blizzard traps them inside the lodge as terrifying events summon specters from Grace’s past.
“Keough’s performance contends with the bitter silence of reproach, isolation, and abandonment.” – Michael Roffman, Consequence of Sound
“The latest addition to this current trend of arty dread—often slow, but freakish, psychologically traumatizing and formally audacious…” – Jordan Ruimy, The Playlist
“…anyone with a taste for an implausible but well-executed rug-pull should keep their eyes peeled for The Lodge.” – A. A. Dowd, The A.V. Club
