Funimation presents Violet Evergarden I: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll, a feature adaptation of the critically acclaimed Violet Evergarden anime series. Encore screenings added March 6th through 12th!
Violet Evergarden comes to a private women’s academy to tutor Isabella in the ways of being a lady. Heir to the York family, Isabella struggles to cope with the loss of the only person to bring her happiness and adjust to this new and uncomfortable world. Violet’s lessons do give her a brief respite from the melancholy but without joy, how long will it take for her to truly heal?
The first film to be released by Kyoto Animation, Violet Evergarden uses its beautiful animation to explore the themes of tragedy and grief.
All screenings will be presented in the film’s original Japanese with English subtitles.
