We are pleased to announce that this past Wednesday’s school supply drive, conducted in collaboration with Tools4Schools, was a resounding success!
In partnership with several community leaders and organizations such as Tools4Schools, and with support from sponsors including The Copper Door, Eddie Q Insurance (and individual donations from many of you!), we handed out free backpacks, filled with school supplies, to hundreds of Santa Ana students. The distribution continues today, with a total of 500 stuffed backpacks being provided to support the education of tomorrow’s leaders!
Such a philanthropic effort is it own reward, so it was an especially wonderful surprise to have our City Councilmember Johnathan Ryan Hernandez attend this event, and present The Frida Cinema and our partners with Certificate of Recognitions from both the City of Santa Ana and the State of California for our efforts!
A big Thank You to everyone who supported this initiative!
