AAPI Heritage Month Series: Celebrating Asian American And Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Have this article read to you, listen to it like a podcast
Throughout the month of May, The Frida Cinema is proud to present our Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month Film Series, a curated collection of films recognizing the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. A portion of ticket proceeds from these screenings will be donated to Stop AAPI Hate, an initiative launched by the Asian Pacific Planning and Policy Council (A3PCON), Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA), and the Asian American Studies Department of San Francisco State University in response to the alarming escalation of acts of xenophobia and bigotry against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
