An Okinawan prophecy foretells the destruction of the Earth, seemingly becoming fulfilled when Godzilla emerges and returns to his ruinous origins. Matters are further complicated when a second version of Godzilla emerges, revealed to be a doppelgänger and a mechanical weapon threatening global annihilation.
