Goro Ibuki is an inventor who creates an android named Jet Jaguar, later seized by an undersea race of people called the Seatopians. Using Jet Jaguar as a guide, the Seatopians send Megalon as vengeance for the nuclear tests that have devastated their society, as the world slowly divides from beneath the sea.
Known for its appearance on MST3K, Godzilla vs. Megalon takes the franchise into glorious campiness.
