Our Tina Turner Tribute series takes to the Australian desert with George Miller's third installment in his beloved franchise, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
Mad Max (Mel Gibson), left with no car and nothing to lose, becomes a pawn in a decadent oasis of a technological society named Bartertown, founded and ruled by Aunty Entity (Tina Turner). When exiled, he becomes the deliverer of a colony of children, who believe Max to be the deliverer taking them to the world of Tomorrow-morrow Land.
Co-directed by George Ogilvie, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome is a rollicking, death-defying expansion of Miller's iconic world.
