In the midst of a production of Verdi's Macbeth, a young opera singer named Betty (Cristina Marsillach) is stalked by a deranged fan, who becomes bent on killing the people associated with her to claim her for himself.
Featuring music composed and performed by Brian Eno, Claudio Simonetti, and Bill Wyman, Opera is Argento at his grizzliest and aptly operatic.
