The Violent Years + Teen-Age Crime Wave: Presented by See It On 16mm

See It On 16mm returns with a special double bill of 50s exploitation cinema! Behold William Morgan's 1956 classic, The Violent Years, and Fred F. Sears' 1955 crime film, Teen-Age Crime Wave.

The Violent Years: A newspaper publisher's daughter suffers from neglect by her parents. She and her friends turn to crime by dressing up like men, holding up gas stations, raping young men at gunpoint, and having makeout parties when her parents are away. Their "fence" gets them to trash the school on request of sinister un-American clients, and they run afoul of the law, apple pie, and God himself.

Teen-Age Crime Wave: Jane (Sue England) is on the scene when a robbery occurs, and she is taken into custody with her friend Terry (Mollie McCart). After Terry's delinquent boyfriend, Mike (Tommy Cook), helps them escape, they take refuge in an old farmhouse. Mike becomes unstable and holds the elderly owners (James Bell, Kay Riehl) of the house at gunpoint. Jane, a reluctant accomplice, tries to ease the situation. Things grow even more tense when the couple's son (Frank Griffin) arrives home for Thanksgiving.
