The Frida Cinema is Closed Until Further Notice

In response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, and in consideration and concern for our staff, volunteers, and you, our fellow film lovers, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all films and operations effective Saturday, March 14th.

We hope to resume programming onFriday, April 3rd. We will be closely monitoring announcements from the CDC and state and county leadership to ensure we reopen our doors only when it is safe to do so, and will keep you updated via our website, newsletter, and Facebook and Instagram accounts. Please note this is a strictly precautionary and voluntary measure, made in consideration of the well-being of our Frida Cinema community.

The Frida Cinema will still be accepting Film Club Memberships and tax-deductible contributions, though please be aware that that delivery of membership cards may be delayed due to the circumstances. Public support is especially appreciated during this time, and will help The Frida Cinema to reopen with minimal disruption as soon as it is acceptable to do so. In the days ahead, all online-purchase ticket holders to events that are being postponed will receive an email asking if they’d like to transfer their ticket to the new date, or have their tickets refunded. All online-purchase ticket holders to events that are being cancelled altogether will receive a refund for their ticket purchase. Any tickets purchased by cash at the box office will require refunding through the box office after we re-open.

We thank you for your support during this unprecedented time, and wish you all health and wellness. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@frida.dynocreative.com.

Please take good care of yourselves. We look forward to seeing you soon.
