Reggie Peralta

Reggie Peralta is a man of many interests. A native of Santa Ana, he graduated from UCLA with a BA in Political Science and also holds a certificate in Radio and Television/Video Production from Fullerton College. His film and book criticism has appeared in such outlets as The Grindhouse Cinema Database and LibroMobile, and he has done live readings of his fiction and poetry for Makara Center for the Arts and Writers & Readers of Fullerton College. In addition to serving as a contributor and Staff Content Editor for the Frida, he also works as Blog Editor for several online publications.

Cast a reading rainbow as we co-present the VFF Book Fest — a free celebration of Vietnamese diasporic literature happening at various locations in the Downtown Santa Ana area!

Presented by VAALA (Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association), the VFF Book Festwill commence at 10:00am at the Santa Ana Public Library with an Author’s Panel moderated by Viet Thanh Nguyen, then tag along at Alta Baja Market for an exciting Book Market at 3:00pm, then at 7:00pm, join us at the Frida Cinema as we present Opening Mic Night — a nightly performance of local spoken word artists.
