One of The Frida Cinema’s most crucial funding sources is our Film Club Membership program. Beyond the vital fiscal support provided by our Members, a strong and active Membership is a major asset to a non-profit organization’s, as such support serves as a testament of a community’s support for their mission and work. As such, it is a priority of The Frida Cinema that we reward our cherished Members far beyond our doors, by providing them a special membership card which not only entitles them to discounts and giveaways at our own events, but also to discounts at various participating shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues throughout the city. Here is a list of some of the benefits that await you, our new Community Membership Partner:

• There is no charge for participating businesses. We raise our funds through Membership dues.

• As a Community Membership Partner, your only investment is the discount you give back to the Card-carrying community.

• We promote our Community Membership Partners, most notably on our active social media accounts, every time our Partners have something to announce (new menu item, new promotion, special event, etc). We share these to our entire outreach in the effort not only to promote your business, but also to entice new individuals to become Members.

• Your business logo, address, link to your website, and promotion will appear on our Member Partners page.

• Community Membership Partners are always welcomed and encouraged to drop off flyers/promotional items at our venue.

• As a Community Membership Partner, you set your own discount. As you will see on our Member page, some of our partnering friends offer 10% off, some offer 20% off, some offer a flat dollar amount off, etc. We want this discount to make sense to you, and we assure you that any discount will be well worth the promotion we will provide.

Essentially, it’s marketing you only pay for only when it works – it will be our job to send our Members to your establishment, and your only fee to participate is the discount you give our Members when they flash their card. It’s our way of giving back to individuals who have taken the initiative to support their local film and arts scene, and we thank you for partnering with us in that endeavor.
