Fennessey Fest is a week-long guest programming takeover from the mind of Sean Fennessey (Head of Content at The Ringer, Host ofThe Big Picture, and frequent guest onThe Rewatchables). We gave him a prompt for four different films: One of his “all-timers” (The Long Goodbye), his favorite cult film (The Big Lebowski), a movie that he thinks needs a re-examination (Under The Silver Lake), and a movie he loved from his childhood (Who Framed Roger Rabbit). These four films (consciously or unconsciously) together yielded a very specific series theme: LA-set neo-noirs. Before each screening, there will be an exclusive introduction pre-recorded by Mr Fennessey, with the exception ofWho Framed Roger Rabbit, which will have an in-person introduction as well as a meet-and-greet after the screening!
