The film follows Nina Sayers, portrayed by Natalie Portman in an Oscar-winning performance, a ballerina cast as the lead in a production of Swan Lake. While she embodies the innocence and grace of the White Swan, she struggles to tap into the darker, seductive nature of the Black Swan, leading her into a spiral of paranoia, hallucinations, and self-destruction. As her rivalry with fellow dancer Lily (Mila Kunis) intensifies, Nina’s fragile mental state unravels.
