Join Rendezvous for a screening of Alucarda, Juan López Moctezuma’s 1977 Mexican horror masterpiece!

The story follows Justine, a young orphan who arrives at a convent, where she encounters the mysterious and wild Alucarda. Their intense bond awakens dark forces, unleashing a terrifying chain of events involving demonic possession, satanic rituals, and religious fanaticism. As chaos consumes the convent, the lines between good and evil blur, raising provocative questions about faith and innocence.

Known for its visceral imagery, unsettling atmosphere, and Gothic aesthetic, Alucarda has earned cult status for its daring exploration of horror and the occult.

Doors open at 7:30 PM with music, trailer reels, and a Severin Films booth offering a variety of exclusive goodies! The film begins at 8:30 PM with a special pre-recorded introduction and presentation by Mexican film historian Abraham Castillo Flores.
