Errol Flynn stars as the dashing outlaw Robin Hood, who, with his band of Merry Men, fights against the tyrannical Prince John (Claude Rains) and the villainous Sir Guy of Gisbourne (Basil Rathbone) to restore the rightful King Richard to the throne of England. Along the way, Robin finds love with the noble Lady Marian (Olivia de Havilland) and becomes a symbol of justice, robbing from the rich to give to the poor.
