Our vampire-themed Sunday Scaries for July continues with Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s From Dusk Till Dawn, presented by our friends at Play It By Fear!
On the run after a violent crime spree, outlaw brothers Seth and Richie Gecko flee toward the Mexican border with a kidnapped family in tow. Their destination is the Titty Twister, a remote desert nightclub where they plan to rendezvous with a criminal contact and disappear for good. But what begins as a tense crime thriller takes a shocking turn when the bar’s patrons reveal themselves to be something far more dangerous than ordinary criminals.
Few films switch gears with the gleeful abandon of From Dusk Till Dawn. Combining the sharp dialogue of screenwriter Quentin Tarantino with the kinetic energy of director Robert Rodriguez, the film transforms from a hard-boiled road movie into an all-out vampire siege packed with practical effects and awesome action!
