We’re back to our old tricks of playing a Friday The 13th movie every Friday The 13th. Except this time around, we realized we had already played them all over the past seven years! The solution to this problem is simple: how about we play all ten movies from the iconic Slasher franchise over a two night span? Welcome back to Camp Crystal Lake as we present The Frida Cinema’s Ten Film Friday The 13th Marathon!

Up first is night one, where we will be highlighting the first five films from the F13 series! Doors open at 6PM and the fun all begins at 7PM. We will run each film subsequently with a 15 minute break between each!

GA tickets to each night are $30, and a 2 night GA Pass is $50 and gives you access all ten films!

Friday the 13th (1980) – 7:00PM

The original Friday the 13th (1980), directed by Sean S. Cunningham, is a film that launched one of the most iconic franchises in horror history. Set at the seemingly idyllic Camp Crystal Lake, the film begins with a mystery surrounding a series of killings at the camp in the past. As a new group of counselors arrive to reopen the camp, they become the next targets of an unknown killer.

Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) – 9:00PM

Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), directed by Steve Miner, quickly capitalizes on the success of the original film by continuing the story, introducing Jason Voorhees as the central killer. After his mother’s death, Jason is revealed to have survived his drowning, living in the woods near Camp Crystal Lake. This film sees a new group of counselors who unknowingly walk into the same dangerous fate.

Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982) – 10:45PM

In Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982), directed again by Steve Miner, Jason is fully embraced as the franchise’s antagonist and is given his iconic hockey mask. The film takes place in a secluded cabin, where a group of friends encounter the masked killer.

Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter (1984) – 12:30AM

Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter (1984), directed by Joseph Zito, continues to refine the formula that was established in previous films. Jason, believed to be dead at the end of Part 3, is resurrected by a group of teens who are visiting a nearby cabin. This film is notable for its portrayal of Jason as a more aggressive, physically imposing figure, making him more formidable than ever before.

Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning (1985) – 2:15AM

Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning (1985), directed by Danny Steinmann, marks a major shift in the franchise. The film follows Tommy Jarvis, now a teenager, as he’s sent to a mental institution after the events of Part 4. There’s a big twist in this installment — and we’re not giving it away here!
