For one day only, ROAD returns exclusively to The Frida Cinema after its July 2024 premiere. Written and directed by independent filmmaker Daniel Rodriguez, the film was shot entirely on Super 8mm & 16mm film.

ROAD is a 51 minute mystery/thriller about a man who is petrified of driving and then is taken under the wing of a mysterious car junkie. Told in a non-linear fashion, the film portrays the story of a man learning to drive from various temporal points of views.

The film uses practical old school film techniques such as miniatures and harks back to suspenseful road thrillers like Duel and The Hitcher.

The event will also include never-before-seen trailers by independent filmmakers, giveaways, and a Q&A with the director and cast behind the movie!
