4PM – The Monster Squad (1987)

What happens when Lethal Weapon scribe Shane Black marries The Goonies with Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein in the late 1980’s?  When Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, the Wolfman, the Gill-man, and the Mummy emerge from the shadows in search of an ancient amulet, it’s up to a group of horror-obsessed pre-teens to save their town. Director Fred Dekker co-writer Black infuse their film with irreverent humor and ’80s adventure energy, crating a tribute to classic Universal Monsters that’s earned The Monster Squad its place among beloved 1980’s cult favorites.

5:45PM – Practical Magic (1998)

Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian Owens (Nicole Kidman) are two orphaned sisters who were born into a long line of witches, cursed to doom any man they fall in love with. As adults, their bond is tested when Gillian’s vicious boyfriend Jimmy (Goran Visnjic) dies unexpectedly, and the Owens sisters set out to give themselves a crash course in hard magic to revive them. With a local policeman (Aidan Quinn) growing increasingly suspicious, the girls turn to their eccentric aunts (Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest) to help as their conjuring efforts cause unexpected mayhem.

8PM –Sleepy Hollow (1999)

Tim Burton’s visionary adaptation of Washington Irving’s classic tale finds New York constable Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) at the heart of a gothic horror-mystery when he is sent to the eerie village of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of decapitations rumored to be the work of the legendary Headless Horseman. With the help of the enigmatic Katrina Van Tassel (Christina Ricci), Crane unearths a conspiracy soaked in superstition, secrets, and blood, all rendered in Burton’s signature shadow-drenched style, highlighted by Oscar-winning Art Direction (Rick Heinrichs) and Set Decoration (Peter Young).

10PM – Trick ‘R Treat (2007)

An overnight Halloween-season staple despite a minimal initial release, Michael Dougherty’s  Trick ‘r Treat is a Halloween cult anthology that weaves together four interlocking stories set on a single October 31st night, where werewolves, serial killers, ghosts, and a cute little  trick-or-treater named Sam punish those who break the holiday’s sacred rules. With its playful yet macabre tone, the film pays homage to EC Comics-style horror and creates a richly atmospheric tapestry that celebrates Halloween’s dark, mischievous spirit.

Doors open at 2:30pm!  Each movie will have a 15 minute intermission, with the exception of the intermission between Practical Magic and Sleepy Hollow, which will have a slightly longer 30 min dinner break!
