Ride with Marcell Jankovics’ Son of the White Mare, the first entry in our Surrealist Animation series!

Winner of both the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award and the U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival, director Sean Wang’s Dìdi (弟弟) is a coming-of-age comedy-drama that tells the story of an impressionable 13-year-old Taiwanese American boy named Chris (played by Izaac Wang) during the last month of summer in 2008.
