Bring Her Back

Our A24orror series comes to a very spooky conclusion with Bring Her Back, a disturbing descent into psychological dread from directors Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou (Talk To Me).

Bring Her Back tells the story of a brother and sister that uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother. With another great performance from Sally Hawkins and a number of horrifying sequences, it’ll have you thinking long after you’ve left the theater.

Brace yourself for a haunting you won’t forget.

The Night of the Hunter

We’ve added encore screenings of the Southern Gothic black-and-white masterpiece The Night of the Hunter, one of the most haunting films ever made. The only movie ever directed by actor Charles Laughton, we’re celebrating its 70th birthday this year with a brand new 4K restoration!

Robert Mitchum is unforgettable as Reverend Harry Powell, a preacher with a forked tongue, a switchblade in his pocket, and “LOVE” and “HATE” tattooed across his knuckles. Posing as a man of God, he hunts two children across a dreamlike rural landscape, believing they hold the secret to a hidden fortune. What unfolds is a shadow-drenched tale of survival, spiritual terror, and the strange, luminous resilience of children in a world gone cold.

A box office failure on release, it’s now hailed as one of the most daring American films of the 20th century—an extremely unique vision that has permeated through pop culture until this very day.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind is back for some encores in early June!

A visually inventive and emotionally raw exploration of memory, love, and loss, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind follows Joel (Jim Carrey), a reserved man who discovers that his impulsive ex-girlfriend Clementine (Kate Winslet) has undergone a medical procedure to erase all memories of their relationship. In a mix of desperation and curiosity, Joel decides to do the same — but as he relives his memories with her as they vanish one by one, he rediscovers just how deeply he loves her. The film unfolds largely inside Joel’s mind, blending surrealism with grounded emotion as he tries to hide Clementine in forgotten corners of his subconscious in an effort to resist the erasure.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was met with critical acclaim for its originality, emotional depth, and the dramatic range of Carrey and Winslet’s performances. The film won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, and was nominated for Best Actress (Winslet). It’s often cited as one of the defining films of the 2000s, celebrated for its bold storytelling structure, dreamlike visuals, and bittersweet meditation on memory and identity, and influencing countless films and series that navigate nonlinear timelines, unreliable narrators, and the fragile mechanics of human connection.
