Bogie Fest is heating up as we slip into the shadows with one of his most intriguing noirs: Dark Passage!

Directed by Delmer Daves, this atmospheric thriller drops us into post-war San Francisco, where escaped convict Vincent Parry (Bogie) is determined to prove his innocence after being wrongly accused of murdering his wife. On the run and desperate, Parry finds an unlikely ally in Irene Jansen (Lauren Bacall), a mysterious woman who believes in his cause and helps him evade capture.

As the tension builds through foggy streets and dangerous encounters, Dark Passage leans into the paranoia that came to define classic film noir, while also showcasing the electric chemistry between Bogart and Bacall. 

When the body of teenager Laura Palmer is discovered, the citizens of the peaceful town of Twin Peaks are rocked — and suspected.  FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper arrives to join Sheriff Harry S. Truman to solve the case, launching with the interrogations of grieving friends and family, each of whom seems to know only part of the story. Their investigation soon begins to unveil hidden relationships, private lives, and a few unsettling mysteries…

Ko Chow is an undercover cop who is under pressure from all sides. His boss, Inspector Lau, wants him to infiltrate a gang of ruthless jewel thieves; his girlfriend wants him to commit to marriage or she will leave Hong Kong with another lover; and he is being pursued by other cops who are unaware that he is a colleague. Chow would rather quit the force, feeling guilty about betraying gang members who have become his friends.
