Auntie Mame

Life’s a banquet…and some poor suckers are starving!

Dive into the fabulous, freewheeling world of Auntie Mame with a brand new 4K restoration from Warner Brothers!

When young orphan Patrick is sent to live with his wildly unconventional aunt, his life is turned upside down by the unstoppable force that is Mame Dennis (Rosalind Russell). Bohemian, larger-than-life, and always chasing the next adventure, Mame sweeps Patrick through a whirlwind of parties, teaching him to embrace life in all its chaos, even as society (and his stuffy guardian) try to rein them in.

Directed by Morton DaCosta, Auntie Mame is a technicolor celebration of living without regrets. Anchored by Russell’s iconic, whirlwind performance, the film sparkles with a rebellious spirit that still feels downright contagious! Don’t miss it on the big screen!

Steal This Story, Please!

Undeterred by armed soldiers, evasive politicians, and riot police, journalist Amy Goodman has reported some of the most consequential stories of our time. Steal This Story, Please! is a gripping portrait of the trailblazer whose unwavering commitment to truth-telling spans three decades of turbulent history. From the frontlines of global conflicts to the organized chaos of her daily news show Democracy Now!, Goodman broadcasts stories and voices routinely silenced by commercial media.

Oscar-nominated filmmakers Carl Deal and Tia Lessin (Trouble the Water, The Janes) take us behind the scenes with the warm, wisecracking granddaughter of an Orthodox rabbi–raised in a tradition of asking hard questions–as she navigates a news landscape reshaped by technology, corporate consolidation, and political assaults on the press…and on truth itself.

Urgent, provocative and unexpectedly funny, Steal This Story, Please! is both a call to action and a celebration of resistance, posing the question: what happens to democracy when the press surrenders to power?

High Sierra

He killed…and there on the crest of Sierra’s highest crag…he must be killed!

We’re hitting the road with one of the defining films of Humphrey Bogart’s early stardom: High Sierra! This gritty crime drama finds Bogie stepping into a role that helped transform him from supporting heavy into full-fledged leading man.

Bogart stars as Roy “Mad Dog” Earle, a hardened criminal freshly released from prison and pulled into one last heist in the mountains of California. As he assembles his crew and plans the job, Roy crosses paths with Velma (Joan Leslie), an innocent young woman he becomes unexpectedly devoted to, and Marie (Ida Lupino), a tough, world-weary drifter who sees through him more clearly than anyone else.

Successfully mixing a gangster film intensity with a tragic romance, High Sierra builds toward a tense and unforgettable finale high in the Sierra Nevada. The film cemented Bogart’s ability to bring depth and vulnerability to dangerous men, hinting at the layered performances that would define his greatest roles.
